Knowledge is Power! This is How to Stay Informed with Google News Alerts!

How to set-up news alerts in Google so you get notified of things you are interested in, such as Firearms Rights, Defensive Gun Uses and more.

First, you should go to https://www.google.com/alerts

Then you enter keywords you want to be notified if there are any news stories on. You can enter anything that interests you but we hope you would enter things like “gun control bill”, “Active Shooter” and such. Here is a list of some that I have set up:
You, of course, can pick your own, but I have found these and a few others work well to keep me informed.

These will be sent to your email address that you designate and you can choose how often. I have mine set to daily, and immediately for a few (like active shooter). This will help to keep you informed, and also get you news stories about topics of interest to you.
